So the default size of a model doesn't really mean much. In addition to the disclaimer, it is implied there, but ever since at least Warcraft 3, models have often been used in multiple sizes, back then mostly to differentiate higher level mobs, or, you know, bosses, which the faction leaders definitely are in this context.
